Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I was terminated by David's Bridal because I allowed my spouse to take the company deposit across the street to the bank for me. Is this legal?

Generally, Illinois is an "At will" employment state/jurisdiction.

Absent an employment contract you are an "at will" employee and can be fired for any reason or no reason at all as long as it is nit illegal such as because of your race, ethnicity, etc.
