Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

Can 6 people occupy an approximately 800 sq ft apartment? The apartment is 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom. There are 2 adults, 2 girls (about age 11 & 14), 1 boy age 5, and a newborn girl.

Most localities have zoning codes and require minimum sf for the number of occupants. The other thing is whether this group is related by blood or marriage -- there are limitations on that as well. Localities don't want people squashed into spaces that are too small from a health, sanitation and safety standpoint. 800 sf could have 3+ bedrooms, however, and that could be enough. You'd have to check with your locality's zoning/code authorities.....
