Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
House was condemned and i have belongings inside the code enforcement said i have no right to my belongings because im not owner if the house. How can i get my stuff. This mainly includes clothes, two small stereos, and a small ottman.

You need something to prove you had a right of access: a lease, letters addressed to you at the location, and problably the most difficult: proof of ownership of the property -- the code people become liable for letting people take things out that don't belong to them. Even if you filed a lawsuit for "replevin' (I have a greater right to the stuff), you'd have to prove to a court it's yours.
