Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

My lease lists two separate individuals as Lessors. Would they both be required to file in a Forcible Entry and Detainer Action, or does only one party need to file? Does that also apply to the 5 day notice?

They are both needed for the lawsuit unless there was an assignment of interest-the same should be true of the 5 day notice. However, these are usually small claims cases and the judges often take a liberal view on these types of things
