Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

Problem with Tenants

So I rented an apartment to the couple in December. The man is the only one who signed the lease. They got into an altercation with the woman and ended up in jail, and she put a restraining order against him. He cannot come to the apartment now, which is in his name. He wants to get her out, and wants to know if I can do anything since she is not on the lease. I'm not sure if I can. I agreed that he could have someone move in with him in the first place. How would I go about getting her out of the apartment?

Re: Problem with Tenants

If the male/tenant is going along with everything. I think I'd bring suit against him and "Unknown" occupants. Practically then you'd serve him and maybe by Agreed Order an Order of Possession would get entered against him along with "Unknown Occupants." Then the Sheriff will eventually remove her.
