Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

I was hit by an uninsured motorist!

I was hit by an uninsured motorist, which resulted in me breaking my leg. I would like to know what I should do in means as to sueing her and legal things like that. My car was totaled and I have a lot of medical bills to pay. I had to quit work and drop put of college. Also my insurance did not pay for my car fully. I had to pay over $200 to pay it off. I had full coverage nad uninsured motorist coverage. Shouldn't they have payed for it fully?

Re: I was hit by an uninsured motorist!

If you had full uninsured motorist protection, you should make a claim to your insurer for your injury. These are tricky claims to make, so you should hire a lawyer. Your lawyer can also help you resolve the issue of the $200.00, though that amount may be your deductible.
