Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Injuries from whiplash

Three months ago I was hit from behind in an automobile accident and received a case of whiplash. I am about 3/4s recovered and the ins. company is wanting me to settle for my injuries. After I am fully recovered what should I expect money wise to be compensated for my pain and suffering?

Re: Injuries from whiplash

It is so hard to just say for sure what your case is worth. Be very careful about what you hear from attorneys over the net and who are not from your area of the country. It matters where you live. The only way to be accurate is to know what juries in your area award for similar cases and try to settle for a similar amount.

I think formulas are useless and do not accurately measure pain and suffering. Talk with a lawyer in your area who has experience with claims like this.
