Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

personal injury

I was injured, not severly, on a cruiseship when the line turned to take an injured passanger back to port. The ship did a 20 degree list and I was run over by a foreign currency exchange machine. I could not get medical help on board and hurt my shoulder and neck. I have contacted the cruiseline and I want to know if I have any recourse. I did not enjoy the trip as I should have as I was stiff and sore for several weeks.

Re: personal injury

Since you were not seriously hurt, you may try to resolve the claim directly with the cruiseline. It appears they may be negligent for failing to secure the exchange machine. If they offer an unreasonably low amount, I would contact an attorney. Good luck.
