Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Skin Damage

I went to a tanning bed for the first time in years. I was not told to review any info, sign a waiver, or anything. The low tan bed was occupied and I was advised that I could use the highest bed available but for less time. My body was so adly burned that I had to sleep sitting up for 2 days and now the backs of my legs are a different color that the front and one has a big white circle? (I have pictures from the bad burn). I am getting married in a couple of weeks in MX and fear that this is will not only be embarrising but also become permanent discoloration. This happened on April 9th and today is May6th. I will be seeing a dermatologist but didn't know if this was something that I should take legal action on.

Re: Skin Damage

You may have a cause of action but I need a lot more information to be able to give you an intelligent assessment of your case. Usually, these sort of services come with a waiver--it is intriguing that you did not have to sign anything before the use of the equipment. Be that as it may, these sort of cases (I have handled many health clubs injury cases) are very fact intensive. I invite you to contact my office and either come and see me or we can talk on the phone in order for me to be able to tall you whether you have a sustainable cause of action or not.

I hope this helps,
