bamboo
I have bamboo roots running extensively throughout my yard from my neighbors bamboo plant. If I have someone remove it will my neighbor be responsible for the cost of having them removed.

There is not a lot of case law on this subject. It appears that you may be able to recover the reasonable cost of removal. There may be a local ordinance
that may provide for damages and responsibility.
