Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Cooperative Housing

I have live in a cooperative for the past five years until recently have lived here with my two teen-age sons and another party. In October of this year, the other party physically move out of the unit. Since that time, the manager attitude and actions have become increasingly negative and hostile. There are alleged security reports indicate my son in misconduct. Now I am schedule to meeting with the board of directors and the management office is refusing to accept my monthly carry charges for the month of November.

Re: Cooperative Housing

I would predict that the stage is being set for your eviction. I assume that you do not own, but rent the property in question. Regardless, you need to retain legal counsel in a hurry. I'm sure that there is an attorney near your home that you could consult with.
