lease rights for a felon

can a landlord refuse to rent a convicted felon an apartment based on just that point?

Hello. In my opinion there are no laws which penalize a landlord for

refusing to rent to a convicted felon. However, this is something that I have not seen a great deal of. I would not rule out legal action against the landlord because there is a good chance that the convicted felon might be protected

under a separate classificaton. I will be happy to discuss this with you further and in more detail.
