Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Illinois here. I have lived in same house for 38 plus years. Father bought home originally; mothers name is on house; she added recently. My name is not on home. Father deceased. How do I protect my rights, so that mother cannot sell home and kick me out on streets?

If your mother is the only live person with ownership interest, you have no rights.

You speak of "your rights". You have no right to this parcel of real estate. Your mother can do with it as she wishes. Period. If she has a will, it will go to that person or persons that she directs in that instrument.
