Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Lease Voided?

I signed a lease to rent a house last october for one year, recently our lanlord asked if there was any way we could move earlier, we signed a new contract stating that we would receive 2 months free rent if we moved early, the new contract also states that the lease will now terminate at midnight on april 30th 2007 and the all deposited funds will be returned. should the return of the funds now be unconditional and the original lease voided?

Re: Lease Voided?

Who knows? Withhout reading both agreements, no one can answer your question. You need to show both agreements to an attorney.

Re: Lease Voided?
