Is a signed contract for Deed by four individuals legal if it is not notarized by all four in front of the Notary Individual?

Possibly....or possibly not. Your question does not make it clear what happened. Did all four sign, but someone's signature was not notarized? Did all four sign, and their signatures are all notarized, but one or more of them did not sign in front of the notary. Did one or more of them not sign the deed at all?
