Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

I was driving through Chicago IL and got pulled over for improper lane usage. At that time the told me that my license in OK was revoked. I was unaware of that. The officer gave me a ticket and said that if I got my license reinstated before the court date on the ticket that I could fax in the paperwork and not come court. Well that is not the case at all. I needed to appear and found that out when I called to get the fax infomation for my reinstatement paperwork. I missed the first court date which was 7/31/09 at the Rolling Meadow court house. They have issued a warrant for my arrest and set another court date for 9/2/09 at 1:30 PM. I have since gotten my license reinstated and need to understand if I appear at the next court date will I go to jail? Or what will happen? I would like to get this matter resloved.
