Driving while suspended!! and no insurence

I got pulled over this morning for no seat belt and my drivers licence is expired and my vehical insurence had lapst!! They took me to jail and i bailed myself out and they gave me a court date!! im wondering can they give me jail time!! I have 4 kids and a newborn that is nursing and will not take a bottle!! i have nobody to take care of the kids!! Im willing to pay the fines and not drive again but Im wondering if they would still give me jail time under these circumstances!!

You need to hire an attorney. You also need to take whatever action is required to have your license reinstated. The attorney will be able to keep you out of jail and perhaps keep you from losing your license as a result of these tickets. Good luck.

You indicate that your license was expired. That is different from being suspended. If your license was only expired, then go get a new license and bring that to court. If it is suspended that is another matter and much depends upon the reason for the suspension and if you have been ticketed before for a suspended license.
