Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

im a 36 year old an my decease fathers name is not on my birth certificate. Do i have any right to his trust property, it does not have my name on the trust, it just says if he has any children it will be passed down.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father.

Yes, it's possible that you may be a beneficiary of the trust, but it would be very hard to prove. You will have to prove that the decedent was your father and that he knew you were his son.
