father recently passed away

my brother has closed my fathers bank account and i want to see if there is a car or house in my dads name. my brother is stealing everything and i want to know if theres anything i can do.

Hire a lawyer and open a probate case. Get appointed administrator, and go to the banks where the accounts were and ask for an accounting. Also, go to the recorder of deeds. Give them the address and ask who the owner was on the date your father passed away. If your brother is stealing from the estate, he can face criminal charges.
