Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Mom stroked in June. She wont talk and right side paralyzed.I have lived with her for 10 yrs. I have managed her stocks for 5 yrs and all her accounts. Brother is seeking quardianship. I just got the papers today court is Thursday. I want to fight this. Any chance of a continuance? I spoke with ad litem and she made it seem like a done deal.

It sounds like you need to speak to an attorney as soon as possible to get legal advice on what can and should be done in this situation.

It could be that the guardian ad litem believes it is a "done deal" because she hasn't heard your side of the story.
