Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

How long is too long?

My father died a year ago. He had money in a trust. My understanding is that it really was not a complicated matter but the siblings are extremely bitter and dragging their feet. I was told that legally they cannot drag their feet if there is no reason for it. Is that true? Is there an Illinois law that I can refer to?

Re: How long is too long?

Speak to the trustee of the trust. That person will have all the powers granted under the trust. Find out what the delay is regarding the transferring of the property in the trust.
