Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Vehicle Ownership (Take 2)

I've asked a question on this site before, but I'm not asking my question correctly, because the answers are coming back great, but vague.

My father purchased a vehicle and had a co-signer who also added his name to the title of my father vehicle at the time he co-signed for it. My father recently passed away and I'm (His Son) is in possession of the vehicle and paying the car notes. My question is...Does the co-signer who's name is on the title of the vehicle, now the rightfull owner of the vehicle or does he only maintain ownership of half of the vehicle, and the other half goes to my fathers estate?
