back pain

i hurt my back lifting heavy trash went to my clinic the doctor told me i pinch a nerve so i was off 2 weeks went to my job clinic to see their doctor gave my job all the informations so i can file for worker's compensation i want to know i long will it be for i receive any compensations?

Once you provide the insurance company your off work slips, they should begin paying you 2/3 of your average weekly wage. There is a 3 day waiting period, but if you have been off work for more than 2 weeks, you should be getting paid.
