Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois
Employment: missing wages & suspension after I won my case
What to do? A few months ago on my job a security officer with no cause tried to attack me; I am a female clerk. I defended myself and was taken to jail because he was a friend of the principals. I went to court and asked for a trial; and he failed to show up on the trial date and the case was thrown out. Three months later, I am still on suspension and have not heard anything from my job even after a letter was sent to the union. They have not even paid me my deffered payment money I worked for during the summer which amounts to a few of thousands or told me my job status. I feel that they just hope I go away if they ignore me. Only thing good is that I still receive my medical and dental benefits.

This question concerns Labor and Employment law more than Workers' Compensation law.
I think you would get a better response if you resubmit your question.
Good Luck,
