Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

person as a whole

My question is;My attorney has reached a settelment with my employer. In the letter that he sent me says that I am deemed at 5% less of a whole, but on the contract for the settelment it say's that I'm 14% less of a whole. That seems to me that the settlement should be at lease 2 to3 times bigger then it is.I don't know what to do about that. Can you please help me with that question?Thankyou.

Re: person as a whole

You should call your attorney and ask for clarification. If you are not satisfied with the explanation, you can always go to another attorney and get a second opinion. It may be a simple error.

Good luck

You should make an appointment to see your attorney and ask for an explanation before jumping to any conclusions or looking to another lawyer for advise.
