Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

settlement amounts

Could some one please break down how the ins. co. pays out a settlement? Say a claim is WORTH $500K. Could some one please explain how they come by that number, and how much the claimant would actully receive in a lump sum? Actual dollars, percentage over time, etc...

If you have an attorney, your attorney should be able to explain everything to yoru satisfaction. If you do not have an attorney, and you have a worker's compensation claim, then you should have an attorney.
