Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

I was terminated from FedEx Ground in Illinois for attendance, however I received an injury at work & was seeking medical attention for it. My injury caused my poor attendance & now that I am no longer employed, I do not have insurance and do not know what to do. I am still injured & in a lot of pain everyday, FedEx has done nothing.
