Legal Question in Business Law in India

Pradeep, a cricket player, signed a contract on December 2 with the Blueboys(blbyz), a pro cricket league team. The contract was a standard form that contained a clause stating, "This agreement shall become valid and binding upon each party only when and if it shall be approved by the League Commissioner." This contract also has an arbitration clause. In late December, Pradeep informed the Blueboysthat he would not be playing for them because he had signed on with the Mumbai Indians. Meanwhile, Pradeep had endorsed ads for BLBYZ and all the associated sponsors of BLBYZ. These contracts were however, signed by BLBYZ as a league and not by Pradeep Individually. He also had used facebook and twitter to communicate his intention not to stick with BLBYZ due to professional reasons.

A video showing negotiations with one of the members of Mumbai Indians also was posted on YouTube where the audio and video quality was poor, but it showed Pradeep taking money for changing his team. The video was posted using an id Pradeep.blbyz. Later this video was deleted. Upon probing, it was found that the id was of Pradeep. Pradeep contends that his id was hacked 3 days before such video was posted on YouTube. Though this is disputed by Pradeep, there is no concrete proof of him being in the video and not impersonated.

On January 12 the commissioner approved the contract. BLBYZ then sued Pradeep for breach of contract. Parallels, the title sponsors of BLBYZ sued BLBYZ for breach of contract as Pradeep after promoting ads for them, changed his team. ICC also sued BCCI for promoting such players who do not have integrity based on the YouTube video.

Question : 5. If you are Pradeep lawyers how will you deal with this whole issue and save him from multiple law suits.
