Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Name and Date of Birth Change.

Good Evening Sir/Madam,

My date of birth in Metric certificate is 20.11.1979 due to negligence at that time.

I have date of birth certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer of civil hospital where date of birth is 08.01.1981 but name is X.

Can i change my date of birth now in passport and everywhere else.

My name in Metric Mark sheet is Y and in all subsequent mark sheet upto MCA and in passport is Z

Difference is between Pra and Par in my name.

Can there be problem in VISA processing due to this name conflict.

What documents are checked for any VISA processing?

Please reply

My real concern is regarding name difference.

Even in company my name is Y As it was taken from C-DAC certificates.

What are overall chances of change in Name and Date of Birth in all above aspects.

Is it worth to spend money and time in all this matter?

How much time and cost it may incur?

you can not change date of birth except you have sufficient and solid proof that your date of birth is wrong in the records. but it would be very much difficult

changing the name or announcing ur exact name for future purposes, is not so difficult and u just need to get it published with some legal formalities for which u may contact local lawyer

difference in name at various places will cause problems especially in visa/ passport so its better get the name published through name change notice in newspapers
