my son's name inforce since last 15 years know problem is that the birthcartificat is on another name. so i want to change name on birthcartifcate so please help me

i have not seen the name of the child on the birth certificate. only the sex and name of parents is mentioned. re frame your query.

Dear Sir / Madam,

The name of the child is usually not mentioned on the Certificate given by the concerned nursing home / hospital to the parents at the time of delivery. The name is mentioned on the Birth Certificate application submitted by the parents to the concerned Municipality / Zilla Parishad along with the Nursing Home / Hospital Certificate. The name once entered on the Birth Certificate in the Municipal Record cannot be altered without giving a public advertisement of the old name and new name followed by obtaining a Court affidavit.
