Legal Help Required

Sir,

I have filed a complaint against a telecom company recently. I have made a mistake. I have typed NDL in place of NLD. So I want to correct it.Please help me.

I assume NLD is the name of the company. The usual drill is that the consumer 'court' will call you for admission hearing within 3 weeks of filing the complaint. You can tell this to the 'court' about the correct name at that time and request them to correct it themselves, and you may ask them if any action [such as filing amended complaint] is to be taken by you.

If admission hearing has passed and notice has been issued to the company, as long as it has been served upon the company, you need not bother about it. If it is returned with the remarks that 'nobody by this name', then you may request the court to send at the correct name.

If notice has been served, and date fixed for their reply, and they submit the reply, you need not take any further action really.

you can file an amendment application requesting the court that there is a typographical error in your complaint which needs to be corrected. after teh court allows your application you can make the necessary corrections

no problem at all.

just move an application before the concerned authority mentioning the mistake and attach a copy of the complaint with the correct name.

it will be accepted and thats it.

plaese contact your lawyer through whom u have filed complaint .....

actually you have to make an application for rectifing an typing mistake and error in the complaint, if it does not work them move an application to consumer court for amendment of complaint, it will definalty allowed by judges of consumer forum.
