Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I had a credit card of ABN Amro Bank. There are some dues which is still continue.... As per bill last transaction (Purchase) was on 16 May 2008 and last payment was made on 12 Jan 2009..... Tried to sort it out but bank people don't want to listen my queries...... they have started calling to all the employees and land line of my office as well as they are discussing the same with my relatives also...... I am surprised how they have got nos. of all these fellows with my relation with them...... anyway...... now they have started threatening as well....... Can i file defamation case against the bank for the spoiling my social and professional image...... what kind of action bank can take to recover this money..... I want to settle this on my terms and conditions...... Pl. reply.....

you can file a complaint of criminal intimidation against the collection agency.
