Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I have a credit card of HDFC bank, i used the card upto the limit, to purchase ornaments, but the sameday i lost it, and ii lost my job very next day, now i am not ina position to pay it now , the recovery agents harrash my parents, also they had launched a police case against my name, anf have said that they will take me behind the bars for non payment, plz tell me what should i do?

Dear Sir / Madam,

You need to file a Police complaint for lost card and handover a copy of the complaint to your bank asking them to stop allowing any unauthorized debits which can occur if your lost card is misused.

You have no other choice but to pay off your credit card debt to avoid any further complications.
