a person has stollen my father's cheque and given it to some person and taken money from him as my father's cheques as security, my father expired in march 2011, and now the person who has given the money is telling that he will put a case on me... will this be legally right? plz suggest how i can go about it..

when he file the case he has to prove in court the allegations and u have to defend ....we cant stop him taking any action and what is legally right that has to be decided by the court ..
