Sir, I am a law student please i couldn't find these terms definitions properly in the procedure code 1.minor offence 2. major offence

3.simple hurt i request you sir please explain me and clarify my doubt...and what is the difference between them

Minor offences are those which are punishable with fine or/and imprisonment upto one year.Example- violation of traffic rules,gambling etc. otheres are major offences like murder etc. Simple hurt are those injuries which does not endanger life and which are simple in nature.Consult any commentary.

Sr.Nos.1 and 2 are not defined in the procedure code. Sr.No.3 is defined in section 319 r/w 320 I.P.C.
