certified true copy of acquittal order

My friend has not recieved certified copy of acqittal order even after 20 days of application ! copying clerk

says it is not ready . what

could be reasons and what should be done to get certified copy at the earliast.

It usually takes time it depends upon the workload of the concerned court have you filed the application as emergent.Anyway the appeal time will count only from the date of your receipt of your the certified copy.And as you might know in India anything can be obtained if you please the concerned clerk properly.Thank You.

dear sir,

in response it is stated that some time due to overloading of work sometime it take time in getting ready the certified copy.it is advisable to apply in copying agency to get certified copy of order.

There is nothing to panic about it. IT is quite a common thing. Many a times after pronouncement of the acquittal, the actual judgment may take time due to typing, signanture etc. Your friend may check with the court concerned, if the judgment had been typed and signed. Thereafter it should not take time.
