Re: judge as witness

a judge stands at the same footing as any other witness. he can also be a witness to any proceedigns that took place in his court or about any material fact that came to his knowledge w.r.t. the proceedings. of course, the evidence of a judge has great value in the eyes of law but even he has to go through cross examination as any other witness.

judge can be witness and there will not be any difference between him and other witnesses except that he will get more attention by the court and if he wants date will be given very easily.

Re: judge as witness

Judge can be witness but it is mandatory that he might not have to adjudicate the matter means there by that he can not be witness in his own case which is pending before him. There is as such no difference between judge witness and other witnesses.
