Sale of Property in Plain Paper

In a partition suit filed by my father late plaintiff,a defendant ,his nephew produced a plain paper sale document where my grand father(75 years) had sold the ancestral co-parcenary property ,his undivided share with dwelling house for a bad debt of Rs.2000/-taken from him9grndson).It contains signature of my father also but de denies it in court stating that his signature is forged.The document is unregistered.He claim possession by adverse possession also.Can I sue him for Criminal breach of trust? Or any other IPC sections for Criminal misappropriation.He had failed himself to come for deposition in trial court.He hasn't taken mandatory sanction from Stae Govt. for acquiring of this property as per his conduct rules either benami or otherwise or has givin any intimation to Government?Please advise

but the paper is not a total waste

it can be used in one or other way
