sec 138, Negotiable Instrument Act

I know that we can send summon by Courier, Can we send the summon by Fax and show fax report as evidence?

the recognized medium of service is registered a.d/courier and the summons served through court processor. no other method is recognized under the law.

By courier notified by the court or speed post but not by fax.

although there is no such provision in law, however by an application to court, you can seek the permission of the court of alternate ways of service of summons, such as by -email or fax etc.
