498A, how to inform US embassy

498A is pending, no chargesheet has been filed yet. can i still inform the US embassy of 498A? if yes, then what is the procedure to do this? what happens if we inform the US embassy?

You have to make application to the court before which the case is pending along with complete addrerss of your husband to ask the US Embassy to look in the matter and take necessary steps for bringing back youh husband to face trail in India.

You may write to the court directly with a copy to US embassy.

You may send a copy of the FIR U/S 498-A to them with request to take appropriate action in USA.they can cancel his US visa and ask him to return to his home country.
