baby naming issues
Hi,
I recently became a father to a cute lil baby boy. I decided to name him Benjamin Xavier--name removed---name removed--here is my family name.I have not added my name--name removed---name removed-- anywhere to my kid's name.I would like to know if they would create any legal problems in future (esp. in India). Is it a necessity that my name should be added and if so will it be ok if i add my name as his middle name thereby keepin my family name as his last name.

You may add or not as there is no legal requirement under any law

There is no norm in naming a person.
adding parent's name in a person's name is only a customory practice but not mandatory
to add a parent's name is only a matter of identity and for that purpose you may add your name as rightly decided by you.

There is no legal requirement . But you can do so if you want

there is no law of naming babies in India; you are at liberty to give any name to your baby.

It is better that you give full name as shown in your records or documents which are legally binding on you.
if you do not give the name correctly with the father name there will be problems later wherein you have to spend lot of money later better do all the things rightly giving your name in Corporation records and register the same in birth Certificate.
