whether ''irretrievable break down of marriage'' as a ground for the grant divorce ,is valid to bring an amendment in section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act,1955.

Even though the Supreme Court has granted divorce on the ground of irretrievable breakdown of marriage; and has suggested an amendment to that effect to be made by the legislature; this is not yet a ground for divorce in the act.

Yes divorce can be granted on the ground of "irretrievable break down of marriage".

As for is amendment U/Sec - 13 is concerned you have not specified what kind of amendement you what.

Irretrievable break down of marriage IS NOW A RECOGNISED ground for marriage By the Supreme court of India but there is no Amendment to this effect in existing Hindu Marriage Act.
