Legal Question in Family Law in India

my father has 5 brothers and 4 sisters. grandfather expired. now all are fighting for property partition. if i file case for partition , how much time it will take for actual partition result. as uncle says it will take min. 35 yrs.? also if i file a case , does any body of my uncle can put a stay on partition, to avoid partition?

You have or get share in your Grand Fathers property through your fathers share and not otherwise. Your father can file a suit for partition against his siblings . NO they cant ...

its better to file partition suit .. it does not take 35 yrs .. all depends of the lawyer how fast can he proceed the suit

presently you cannot file case, to avoid partition you can try to persuade you uncle.

Your father can file Partition suit and it may take minimum of 4-5 years and may be during the Pend ency of the suit it might end in compromise, further stay cannot be granted to avoid filing of Partition suit.
