Legal Question in Family Law in India

I have filed a case of domestic violence against my husband and in laws.However, their whole point of argument is my income. Would my income have any impact on the compensation that i would receive for all the violence. if no, Is there any calse law to support

Yes, your income will have to be considered after you establish that DV was committed by the in laws. The compensation and/or maintenance would depend upon the income you had been making before the complaint and after making of the complaint.

Compensation for Violence and Maintenance are two different things, and are based on different facts. Compensation has no bearing on your income but maintenance has.
