Right to Information Act-498A-ram

Police said they entered my complaint in to General Dairy but didn't give me any receipt. after 2 months (december '2006)of my complaint, police called all people and they came with local mass/rowdies to station with an already well written false 498A complaint. Since i wanted my wife at that time ,They forced me to give a written statement that, i will take care of my wife. But my wife didn't give anything in writing to be with me. But i heard that they are already decided to send her to U.S(her sister is in U.S), and she is taking MCA entrance for that. Later in 2007'march they sent my wife to my home , and she has taken away all gold, those vedios,photoes which shows we are happy. and in April'2007 she put 498A on our entire family. we are on bail now. I heard that they managed to destroy my complaint entered in G.D by bribing police.

1. SHALL I USE R.T.T.I act to get receipt from police to show that I have already given complaint against them.

ur wife does not seem to be interested to live with you; and instead she may be planning to leave for USA; the best method is not legal remedies but a compromise;

Generally police put a seal on the copy of complaint and you might have the copy with seal of police.As you stated that police entered complaint in general diary and in that case you might have the diary number.By giving diary Number and other particulars of complaint you can ask necessary information under RTI Act.

Re: Right to Information Act-498A-ram

the best option for you now is to apply for the anticipatory bail in case she file a complaint u/s 498 a even if she has taken away all her dowry articles. you may again give a written complaint to the p.s. that she has taken away the articles. as far as the earlier complaint is concerned am afraid, no action would be taken on that as no offence is made out.
