Legal Question in Family Law in India
My marriage held in the year 2009, we are not happy because of mis understandings and because of influence of my inlaws on my husband. we are living separately since one and half year.we have a female baby also. we have gifted 3 lakh rupees cash and one lakh rupees worth ornaments at the time of my marriage. My husband want to separate from me but he dont want to return back my cash and ornaments. He is not a job holder but doing small business, but my inlaws has assets and lands. Please suggest what is the best way to get back cash and ornaments, shall i file case against him or divorce. Please suggest.

You can file a case under the Domsetic Violence act for maintenance and residence against your husband . You can file compliant before CAWC for dowry demand and return of istridhan etc against your husband and inlaws. You can also file a petition for Divorce .
