Legal Question in Family Law in India
Hello sir,
I get divorced 2 months before. I have one daughter. I registered my name for remarriage on site. Few days before, I got one proposal. His name is Prashant. He is interested in me. But he is not divorced yet. He told me, his wife has extra marriage affair. They separated 1.5 year before. First she was ready to divorce. But now her boyfriend is getting married. Now again his wife is interested in him. But now Prashant is not interested in her. Prashant strongly wants divorce. He also sends notice to her. She not replied. Prashant�s parents are not agreeing for divorce. Just want to know how many days/ years it will took for divorce maximum? What should he do for faster process of divorce? I have 1 or 2 years of time for remarriage (before my younger brother I should marry again). Should I wait for him or not?

there is no point waiting for him as the you never know how much time would it take for the divorce process to end. you may forget him and start looking for another alliance. you have gone through alot many problems and now after your first divorce, do not commit any mistake and choose a partner who is divorced and adjustable.

It is not advisable to wait for a person who is still married UNLESS there are other reasons for you to continue with him and you find this match as the best suitable for you.
