Legal Question in Family Law in India

My wife has been staying with her parents for last nine months.we do not have any child .she complains about harrassment from in laws over trivial issues .she wants to have a separate accomodation . i am only son of my parents .her mother says that they do not want divorce and are also supporting her decision to stay away from my family .can u guide me as to what legal recourse she has got? her brother is an advocate . i do not want to break my marriage . pls advise what steps i can take ?

Try setting up a separate residence. If you want to save your marriage, avoid any legal action. RCR may further aggravate your situation. Avoid court case. Try to settle things amicably. If required, seek help from common freinds / realtives. It may be better to accept her demands. As an adult, you should think of settling down independent of your parents. She appears to be right in expressing her desire to live indpendently.
