Legal Question in Family Law in India

Sir

Thank you so much for all the guidance. My husband is hiding in the US and is not receiving his Domestic violence summons. He is dodging very successfuly. I have an infant daughter and having been an housewife through the marriage, I am in a very desperate position as the judge is not granting me interim maintenance till my husband gets served. I have been reading your answers for queries such as mine wherein you have advised that its possible to complain to the concerned US authorities to alert them regarding a pending DV complaint. I request you to kindly let me know which are the authorities you mean? Is it the local police at the jurisdiction he resides in whom I should contact? Or do you mean any specific embassy? Can I contact them myself just by writing to them and sending them the complaint copies or must I go through an attorney for this? Please advise me who are the authorities I can contact in US if I need to alert them regarding his DV case and also what papers I need to give as proof? As the Indian courts d not allow me to give the summons to my husband myself, can I write to my husband's workplace with the details and alert his boss? or do i need an attorney for this?please help me as the RPAD has still not reached him even after a lot of effort and he is deliberately hiding and dragging and no maintenance is being issued to me in the meantime. thanks

You can serve summons through Indian High Commission for service of summons with details of case. Even you can send summons through High Commission by filing an application before the Court, where your matter is pending.
