Legal Question in Immigration Law in India

Legal Right

I immigrated to U.S.A on the basis of guardianship, as my uncle agreed to take my guardianship. I want to know whether do I have any rights for my mother or not? Can I call her to U.S.A? Do I have any rights to her property or not?

Re: Legal Right

I'm assuming that you want to bring your mother to the United States. That would depend on what status you have. Contact me at [email protected] for more information.

Re: Legal Right

It's unclear if what you mean by "guardianship" is that you were adopted by your uncle and that's how you gained permanent residence to the U.S. If that's the situation then you can't petition for your mother to come here.

As far as rights to her property, that depends on the inheritance law of her country.
